In a unique and exceptional setting on the dunes overlooking Noordhoek Beach, this superb villa lies in pristine, natural surroundings. The home has unrivalled space and privacy and offers the facilities to bring together family and friends in one unforgettable location.
While both modern and minimalist, Waterline was designed first and foremost with comfort in mind. Spoiled for choice, the villa offers multiple relaxation spaces in the 500 square metre property with ground floor lounge, library and study flowing into the tranquil garden. With a focus on entertaining, the house is built around a spacious living, dining and kitchen area on the upper level, which lead onto two outside terraces with stunning views overlooking the rim flow pool and surrounding natural beauty.
The impressive front door opens into the library and lower lounge with a staircase leading to the upper level. A comfortable long sofa faces large glass doors that slide right back and lead into the beautifully manicured garden. There is a fireplace for colder days and a wide array of reading material for guests’ enjoyment. One bedroom lies beyond the lounge and the other three are grouped together down a passage with the master suite at the end.
The master suite is a tranquil and private space with a King-size bed, a writing desk and comfortable reading chairs. Glass doors offer a magnificent mountain view and lead out to the garden. Large wooden doors slide back to reveal the delightful en-suite bathroom. Double basins hide the large shower on the other side of the wall and the glass doors that open from inside shower to outside shower. There is also a bath from where one can soak in the peaceful surroundings with a view of the private courtyard.
The second bedroom has twin beds and the third a Double bed. These rooms each have a dedicated bathroom directly across the private passage with one having both bath and shower and the other both an inside and outside rain shower. The fourth bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom and a Queen-size bed. All bedrooms have underfloor heating, glass doors leading into the garden and private external decks with rain showers.
The upper level is devoted to expansive living areas and outdoor entertainment terraces. The fully equipped kitchen has two central islands for sociable meal preparation and leads to the barbecue deck with incredible mountain views. This rear deck has an external lounge area, dining for 10 and both gas and coal barbecues.
The kitchen faces on to the lounge and front deck with sea and mountain views. Both the lounge and dining area lead on to the swimming pool deck where the rim flow pool looks on to dunes, ocean and surrounding mountains. Phenomenal sunsets can be enjoyed from comfortable couches, loungers or even the pool.
The home is just a short 40min drive from Cape Town city center and international airport yet offers the seclusion of a relaxed rural village on arguably Cape Town’s best beach.
